Dan Janotta is a retired Principal / Senior Design Architect who has worked at Johnson Fain in Los Angeles, CA since 1987. Dan received both his Bachelor & Masters degrees in architecture at the University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana. He has taught architectural design classes at USC and UCLA with Scott Johnson.
Dan was responsible for establishing computer technology at Johnson Fain in the late 1980’s and continued to explore it’s integration into the design process until he retired in 2020. He has been a design leader on numerous complex buildings including hi-rise office & residential towers, museums, and wineries. He has extensive experience traveling to Asia working on many prestigious projects. Dan has also designed private homes in Florida & California.
